Founder and Chairman, Ajman Global Group of Companies

Ameer Sulaiman Valiyaveetil

Ameer Sulaiman Valiyaveetil is a visionary global entrepreneur, distinguished by his resilience, strategic acumen, and profound commitment to ethical growth. As the Founder and Chairman of the Ajman Global Group of Companies, he has meticulously built an expansive international conglomerate that embodies his philosophy: “A Global Trading Brand with a Heart.” His journey is a testament to perseverance, transforming challenges into foundational strengths that now drive a unified and impactful global enterprise.

Professional Genesis & Entrepreneurial Resilience

Ameer’s professional journey began in 2008 at Al Abbas in their Marrybrown Fried Chicken wing, where he gained his initial exposure to the commercial world. His inherent entrepreneurial drive, however, quickly propelled him towards more direct business ventures. While working as a delivery supervisor for Albert Abela, Ameer took a significant leap of faith in 2010, acquiring a 25% share of a restaurant in Spring 7, Dubai. Despite the venture quickly proving profitable, it faced an unforeseen closure within nine months due to an expansion plan that resulted in the present-day City Centre.
Undeterred, Ameer embraced another challenge, leaving his job to join Parkway at DIP. Here, he took up the critical mission of transforming a loss-making restaurant into a profitable one from the Managing Director, Kaashif – a mission he successfully achieved. Following this success, Ameer partnered with Kaashif to launch Mirchi Masala in Al Bashar, Dubai. Yet, this venture too faced setbacks and did not take off as expected.
These successive challenges, though difficult, proved to be invaluable lessons. He then goes on to venture into Mango Restaurant in Ajman, a fish stall in Jumeirah market, and several supermarkets in various Dubai locations. Ameer analyzed each experience, both successes and setbacks, to refine his approach to business.
It was during this period that he formulated one of his core strategies: a ‘No Mediator Approach,’ ensuring direct engagement and control across his ventures. He also established a clear personal policy that ‘individuals and businesses are different,’ advocating for distinct accountability and strategic clarity.
From 2013, Ameer diversified into the Canteen business, successfully managing 21 canteens across various parts of Dubai. His drive was rooted in achieving genuine satisfaction through his business endeavors, rather than seeking external validation. This philosophy extended to his approach to public relations; he intentionally maintained a low personal profile, believing that a “no PR” stance ensured accountability remained focused on immediate stakeholders.
The most profound test of his resilience arrived with COVID-19. By the end of 2020, Ameer was compelled to liquidate 80% of his assets to settle debts and ensure salaries were paid, enduring three years of intense struggle. Throughout this period, his partner, Jasmine, was his greatest support. Crucially, he maintained his steadfast ‘0 Loan Approach,’ a disciplined financial policy he continues to adhere to today. The period from 2020 to 2022 became a phase of innovative discovery. Ameer embarked on extensive journeys across India, engaging with visionary scientists and business owners in poultry farming, even developing the revolutionary concept of ‘Ajman Global Chicken.’ While this specific idea was put on hold in 2022, his explorations ultimately led him to seize the vast possibilities in international trading, marking the true inception of AJN and the broader focus of the Ajman Group.
